Walk And Wade Trips
Wade fishing is a great way to experience our local rivers, especially some of the smaller drainages and to access areas the boats cannot. Wade fishing offers anglers a great interaction with the guide and an ability to learn and concentrate on a technique or a particular stretch of river. Wade is an especially great option of beginners and anglers looking to hone their skills on the river. The rivers we wade are Gore Creek, the Eagle River, the Blue River, Roaring Fork, and the Colorado. Each river fishes differently depending on the season and our guide’s fish year around; unless you would like to fish a certain area the guides will take you to the stretch they feel is fishing the best. Half-day wades are typically 4 hours and full days are 7-8 hours. Trip prices include lunch on full day trips. All reservations are subject to availability at time of booking.

Recommended to bring: Weather in Colorado is anything but predictable. For spring, summer, and fall trips we recommend you bring sunscreen, polarized sun glasses, a hat, camera, appropriate quick dry shorts or pants, sandals or footwear that can get wet. Additional garments for layering of fleece, polypropylene, or wool are a good idea for the unexpected. Since we fish year round, those fishing in the winter should add appropriate outer cold weather gear including gloves, hats and insulated jackets.

Reservation policy: We do not request deposits before your trip and prefer payment with cash or checks the day of the trip. If something prevents you from attending your dates, we will work with you to reschedule your trip. Our mission is to exceed your expectations both on and off the water.

We fish rain, shine and snow; trips will not be cancelled due to unfavorable weather.  Only if conditions are so severe to prevent reasonable quality for example – zero water visibility due to rain or runoff, or daytime temperatures staying below zero, we will work with you to a rescheduled date.
